Life is definitely a journey. Through a relationship with God, myself, others, and nature, I have found peace and joy. Yoga and many other practices have been integral in my healing process. I am in recovery and am trying to do the next right things every day, while walking peacefully through this life. It is my hope that we can share thoughts of recovery, parenting, yoga, music, sports, and so much more on this blog. I am not the perfect yogi. In fact, I find it difficult to sit straight up, unsupported, for an extended period of time. Hence..... I am "The Slouching Yogi." I am just learning to do balancing poses. I fall on my face a lot. This has been my experience in life as well. I fall on my face, and then get back up again. I am grateful for all my teachers, and each of you is my teacher. Thank you. Namaste.
